Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th, 1962. Following her film debut during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack of actors. She was also as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. She started her career in acting in the film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. The film cost only $1,000,000 but it grossed in excess of $50 million. Between then, she began to appear on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. It was a program specifically for teens that began airing from April 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances by Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie about a hero where she is a character. Sheedy, for her incredible performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
